You took your family to a nearby restaurant. You were disappointed with the meal and wish to complain to the manager.
Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant. In your letter,
- explain why you were at the restaurant
- describe the problems
- write about the action you want the manager to take
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear _ ,
I was disappointed with my recent dining experience at your restaurant. My family and I came in for dinner last night and were extremely unhappy with the food and service.
The food was cold and bland, and the waitress was very slow and unprofessional. We had to wait over an hour for our food, and when it finally came, it was not worth the wait. We were very disappointed and will not be coming back.
I would appreciate if you could refund our meal or offer us a discount on our next visit. We had high hopes for your restaurant but were sadly let down. Thank you for your time.
