People do many different things to stay healthy. What do you do for good health?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Sample Answer:
The old adage that health is wealth. Health, indeed, is the most crucial thing in individuals’ lives. People do many things to remain healthy. Some people swim regularly, some exercise regularly, and some eat healthy diet. However, I maintain a healthy lifestyle, including hygienic diet, regular exercise, and social life.

It goes without saying that healthy diet is the key instrument to maintain health. I always try to avoid junk food, such as hamburgers, pizza, hot dogs, donuts, and so on. Apart from that, I scarcely eat red meat. Instead, I eat fruits and vegetable as much as I can. Most times I prefer raw fruits as it contain more nutritional value. Like fruits, I tend to eat raw vegetables, is good for my health. This is because they contain complex carbohydrates so that our bodies do not bring forth sugar easily.

Likewise, exercise plays a pivotal role in keeping ourselves healthy. Not only is exercise highly beneficial to our physical health, but also it is useful for our mental health. Regular exercise prevents many diseases for instance heart disease, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, just to name a few. In addition to this, it also improves our confidence as well as increases self-esteem. Moreover, recent studies have revealed that regular physical activity may improve memory and slow down mental decline. Which is why, I fit some regular exercise into my daily routine.
Similarly, the tenor of our social life contributes to our mental health to a great extent. As social being, our bodies and our minds may crumble without having positive, durable relationships. Our mental health is pivot on the quality of relationship with our closed people like parents, siblings, friends, and neighbours. That is why, I always try to spend quality time with them.

To reiterate, health is all we have. Different people do different things to keep themselves healthy and fit. In order to keep myself fit, I maintain a healthy lifestyle comprises healthy diet, regular physical activity and social interactions.
