Nowadays, many professionals opt to work in foreign countries after they receive their training, leading to debates over whether they should be obligated to stay in the country of their studies. This essay will discuss both opinions before concluding with my particular view on the matter.
On the one hand, there are people who believe that professionals should be required to remain in the country where they received their training. For example, in some countries, developing nations in particular, a lack of highly educated professionals can be a major problem, and this can be partially alleviated by ensuring that those who receive their training in the country stay to work. This would also be beneficial to the economy as it would provide more job openings to those who are already living there. Furthermore, by staying, these professionals can help to improve the quality of life in the country.
On the other hand, there are those who support the idea of professionals being able to work in a different country if they wish. This freedom could be beneficial for a number of reasons. Firstly, it could allow professionals to gain new experiences and skills in a different environment, which could in turn benefit the country they work in. Secondly, it could help to create a more diverse and international workforce, which could bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the workplace. Finally, it could be a way for professionals to earn more money, which could help them to support their families back home.
In my opinion, I believe that both sides have valid points, and I think that a compromise may be the best solution. Professionals should be free to work in any country they wish, but they should also be encouraged to remain in the country of their studies. For example, they could be offered incentives such as tax breaks or scholarships to encourage them to remain in the country. This could benefit both the professionals and the country, as it would ensure that the country can take advantage of the expertise of its citizens, while also allowing them to gain experience in a different environment.
To conclude, while both sides have their merits, I believe that a compromise is the best solution. Professionals should be allowed to work abroad if they wish, but they should also be encouraged to remain in their home country.
