There are a number of reasons for this trend, and its consequences vary from positive to negative.
The main reason for the shift from traditional clothing to western styles is the influence of globalisation. As communication and transportation become more efficient and widespread, people are exposed to different cultures, including fashion, from around the world. This leads to greater access to western clothing and styles, which many people find attractive. Additionally, western clothing is often associated with wealth and status, which also makes it appealing.
On the positive side, this trend has made people more open to different cultures. This has enabled people to feel more comfortable wearing clothing from other societies, which can lead to better cross-cultural understanding.
