Sample Answer :
Today, machine is becoming more and more useful ever than before. The cutting-edge machines enable human beings kinds to improve both their production and quality. Production related machine, thus, are gradually increased day by day. However, hand-made items for instance clothes or furniture, also have its own advantage particularly with the items pertaining to artistic or produced with small scale.  To me, I prefer things made by machine to by hand due to its productivity and the ability to emphasize on accuracy.

To begin with, whatever furniture or clothes made by machine helps us to increase the yields. In the past, human beings had to involve in all the part of the production. Now, we can design once and the machines can imitate it with dramatically cheap price. Apart from that, we can produce to a large extent of production. That is to say, the machine brings forth the products with not only cheap price, but also the production has been increased dramatically.  Which by consequence helps to ameliorate the living standard of the poor population and improve the lifestyle of rich ones as well.  On the contrary, hand-made clothes or furniture often tend to be costly that focuses on a small number of population. Made-to-measure clothes or furniture usually targets at upper class people. Personally, however, I like off-the-pet items made by machine due to its economy price.

Likewise, the machine enable us to design and clone the items accurately. It goes without saying that to err is human. But, with the help of machine, we can maintain accuracy whether in design or in production. That is to say that quality can be ensured with the items made by machine. Another key point to remember is that machine can save a significant amount of time which is unimaginable in the past. As a result, workers are able to focus on multitudes of jobs. Apart from that, furniture or clothes made by machine can be sold to customer more promptly than hand-made, which in turn increases manufacturers’ profit leads.

Taking everything into account, I have set forth few reasons why my predilection for items made by machine. However, many works that is essentially to be done by hand despite few limitations. Yet, based on the fast pace of technological advance, It seems reasonable to assume that machine will replace them in the near future.
