You have bought a new laptop computer and in a few days of purchase discovered a major flaw.
Write a letter to the company. In your letter:
- introduce yourself
- explain the situation
- say what action you would like to company to take.
You should write at least 150 words.

Dear _ ,
I am David, one of your customer. On August 30, 2015, I bought a laptop computer, Dell Inspiron 15; model – KCV 5531, from your outlet. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction on the recent purchase of the laptop.
The laptop performed well only for two days. But from the third day of the purchase the screen went blurred and the problem remained persistent until restart. It caused serious problem that I could not bother to use it anymore. The sale of goods act 1979 makes it an implied term of the contract that the products be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for the purpose.
As you are in breach of contract I am entitled to have the laptop replaced and I would request you to confirm it within the next 7 days.
I also require you to confirm whether you will arrange for my laptop to be collected or will reimburse me for the cost of returning it.
