I am writing to inform you that, on Sunday, 12 October, I arranged a party for 8 people at your restaurant. Our meal was terribly unsatisfactory and we were very much dismayed with the poor services we got from your restaurant.
First of all, we were frustrated almost immediately after coming to your restaurant as your waiter gave me an unfriendly reception and made us wait without any explanation for half an hour. In addition to this when we finally took our seats, we had to wait another twenty minutes for our order to be taken. Secondly, the worst part was that we ordered lobsters and chips and these were cold and burnt. The menu temptingly described chips with mushy peas and homemade mustardy habanero hot sauce, but there was no mushy peas either, no apology or explanation was given. We were awfully disappointed and complained over these matters. But the waiter was so rude and said there was nothing he could do.
I expect you to refund me fully for the loss of enjoyment and disappointment of my birthday party as compensation.
