You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter:
- explain why you changed jobs
- describe your new job
- tell him/her your other news
You should write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Laura,
Hope this letter will find you in good shape. It’s been so long since I haven’t heard from you. Anyway, you would be glad to know that I’ve resigned my last job and joined a new one that I passionate about.
I quitted my last job not because I didn’t enjoy the position. I feel that it is the high time to take my career in different direction and move onto new challenges and opportunities. That’s why, I join the world famous marketing organization, Market Access Limited. This is the company whereby I will be able to make greater use of academic background and special ability in the field of marketing. Here, my job responsibility is to analyze current market trend so as to devise new marketing campaign. I am really excited with this new role.
By the way, my husband and I am going to celebrate our 5th marriage anniversary on February 1, 2016. It would be great if you and your husband have time to participate in. hope to hear from you soon.
