You are unhappy about a plan to make your local airport bigger and increase the number of flights. You live near the airport.
Write a letter to your local newspaper. In your letter:
- explain where you live
- describe the problem
- give reasons why you do not want this development.
You should write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to protest the government’s plan to extend our local airport in order to increase the number of flights. My house is located within 15 minutes’ walk of the airport. Please set forth the issue that would not only affect to our natural habitat, but also uplift the number of other problems.
To start with, we are already living in a very noisy and air polluted area disturbed by the domestic flights. Many people of this area are suffering from severe diseases like hyper tension, migraine, and so forth. In addition to this, children are losing their concentration power day by day according to the survey report of local agencies. In the situation, the expansion of the airport would be more dangerous for the locals, particularly, for the sick people and children.
I would appreciate if you will pay your personal attention toward the problem to attract the authority so that the decision would be roll-backed.
