The supplied table presents information about the notebook computer manufacturers’ worldwide market share in 2006 and 2007. Overall HP and Dell brands had the largest market share both in this year among the given notebook brands.

According to the given data, HP alone had more than 31% notebook market share which was largest in 2006 and it increased to 34% in the next year which also remained as the largest market share. Dell stood at the second place in terms of their notebook market share both in 2006 and 2007 which 16.6% and 20.2% share respectively. Again, Acer had over 11% share in the notebook market worldwide in 2006 and it decreased to 10.7% in 2007. For Toshiba, Lenovo, and Fujitsu-Siemens the market share were 4 to 6% in 2006. While this market share increased slightly for Toshiba and Lenovo, it got decreased by more than half for Fujitsu-Siemens brand. All other notebook manufacturer in combination hold the 22.8 percent market share in 2006 and that reduced to 19.3 in 2007.
