Sample Answer:
Nowadays, many students tend to attend schools or universities outside their own countries. They want to study in a foreign university with a strong international reputation. This is because it broadens their horizon of experience and skills that are crucial for future career in a multicultural environment.

First and foremost, by studying abroad students can become much global person and become more marketable to employers because of the intangible life skills they pick up along the way. It is like gaining a sort of cultural capital. They can get the opportunity to see the world. They experience a brand-new country with new customs, outlooks, and activities that help them to come out from the pigeon hole. That is to say students who study abroad return home with an informed and less prejudice toward other culture and people. So, the fact is that the students who study abroad answers many people’s questions about what type of person they are even before people have to ask.

Secondly, aside from attaining cultural capital, the students also can gain intangible competence. Self-confidence, different social skills, time management, just to name a few; all of these develop exponentially while they are abroad. Besides, students who study abroad can get the opportunity to learn foreign language. The students have the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in the new language, and there is no better approach to learn than to dive right in. This means that when the students are surrounded by the language on a daily basis and are seeing and hearing it in the proper cultural context; they can grab the language accurately and quickly.

Last but not the least, study abroad enhances job opportunities. With development of technology and economy, the world is continuing to become more and more globalized and our country is increasingly investing dollars abroad and companies from countries across the globe continue to invest in the international market. In that case, through an employer’s eyes, a student who has studied abroad is self-confident, independent, motivated to embrace all challenges and able to cope with diverse cultures and situations. The experience of living and studying in a foreign country, understanding another culture, and acquiring another language all keep the students ahead from other job applicants.

To conclude, the world we live in is a global village where everyone has to participate in a cut-throat competition to get a toehold in the desired arena. And the students who are studying abroad have an unprecedented range of opportunities available to broaden their world view and deepen their apprehension in global issues. Therefore, day by day, the students are willing to study abroad in order to set them apart from other job applicants in the complex global, political, social, and economic conditions.
