Sample Answer:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I was intrigued with the ad in the Daily Mirror that your company Cultural Expeditions organizes trips for volunteers to third world countries to do some unpaid work. I am writing this letter to enquire about an opportunity to work as an English teacher. If you review my CV, you will find my academic background and relevant experience commensurate with English Teacher.

English language has become the global language. And in this era of globalization, it goes without saying that English is the linchpin of developing countries, and crucial to a sustainable development and eliminate poverty and hunger. However, I am always keen on helping the developing nations. I believe every man in this world deserve the same access to food, education, and standard of life.

I have obtained master degree in Linguistic from University of Columbia.  In addition, I have years of experience as an English tutor in many summer camp organizations where I have learned many handy skills for instance, how to engage learners in the lesson, how to develop learner responsibility, how to address learners’ needs and interest, and so on.

I am enclosing a CV for your review. If, after reviewing my CV, I am the person you need, I would like to work in Bangladesh as I have long admired its history, heritage, and culture. It would be great if I could work there for one year.

I look forward to your reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours faithfully,
Paul Hudson
