The diagram below shows the typical stages of consumer goods manufacturing, including the process by which information is fed back to earlier stages to enable adjustment.

The given flow chart provides information about the manufacturing of consumer products. As is presented in the diagram, consumer products manufacturing have about 12 steps starting from storage till advertising.
The whole manufacturing process has two main flows: flow of information feedback and process of manufacturing. In the initial stage product research, design and planning are done and simultaneously raw materials and required components are stored in the storage process. Then Assembling, inspection and testing are done and the design step is re-initiated based on the feedback of the testing. Next step is packaging and after it consumer products are dispatched to sell to the end users.

Observation found in sales step, market research and product planning is done if necessary. From market research advertising, repacking or redesign steps are often re-initiated.

In summary, the information and feedback flow and original manufacturing are done side by side to make consumer products and both are necessary for the proper manufacturing and sales of consumer goods.
