The given bar graph compares the average number of students in a class in four different countries as well as shows the global average of students of two age groups.  As is seen in the given illustration, number of students in Japan and Hong Kong in a class was far more than that of Russia, United States.

According to the given bar graph, in a typical Japanese class there are more than 67 students of which about 32 are 9 years old while 35 are 13 years old. A very similar figure could be observed in case of class room in Hong Kong. Russia has the least number of students of these two age groups and that is 11-12 in a class. Finally the US has more than 22 9 years old students in such a typical class while the number of 13 years old students in a class is about 18. The global average of 9 years old students in a class is about 23 while it is 19 for 13 years old students.
