Faculty members should be liable for deciding the intellectual performance of a pupil and not for his core conduct. The notion is non-fallible, and I present my views subsequently in the coming paragraphs to support my claims.
Teachers act as corporate guardians, and students learn subjects as well as behaviour in school. The teachers have not only the responsibility of teaching the subjects, but also imparting valuable culture. Therefore, teachers should judge the students for their academic values as well as other behaviour. Some students may learn illicit behavioural activities in the school, which if overlooked by the teacher, may have a negative influence on pupils in the future.
Moreover, bullying and playful fighting are other examples of general behaviour. These practices are more prevalent in school than at home. As there may not be a clear demarcation between these two, and these activities are not demarcated and bullying is not controlled by teachers, it may cause psychological problems to the affected child.
Teachers may find time constraints to constantly monitor the student behaviour, and pupils also may not find it comfortable to be watched every time. Parents also should take responsibility to inform educators about new or unusual behaviour that children may show. These reports make it easy for the lectures to impart judgment about the behaviour.
To conclude, as the students learn more in school and tend to spend more learning time than at home, it is the responsibility of the educators to judge not only the academic performance but also moral and general behaviours. These judgments may make teachers more accountable as well as help students foster their wisdom better.
