Many people feel that students should learn from online materials while others feel that it is better to use printed materials
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
In today’s technology-driven world, there is an ongoing debate over whether students should learn from online materials or printed materials. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument before providing a balanced conclusion.
On the one hand, there are those who believe that online materials are the best learning tools for students. It is argued that online materials are far more accessible than printed materials and can be accessed at any time and from any location with an internet connection. Furthermore, online materials are much easier to update, meaning that students can have access to the most up-to-date information. In addition, online materials often come with interactive elements such as quizzes and games, making learning more fun and engaging.
On the other hand, there are those who argue that printed materials are the best choice for students. It is argued that printed materials are more tangible and therefore better for learning than digital materials. Printed materials are also more reliable; if an internet connection is lost, students can still access the materials. Additionally, printed materials are much better for studying for exams as students can easily highlight important points and make notes in the margins.
After considering both views, I believe that a balanced approach is best. Students should be encouraged to use a combination of both digital and printed materials. Digital materials are great for accessibility and up-to-date information, while printed materials are better for studying for exams. Furthermore, if students use both formats they can compare different versions and gain a deeper understanding of the material.
In conclusion, both online and printed materials have their own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the best approach for students is to use a combination of both formats to gain the most effective learning experience.
