Some people are always in a hurry to go places and get things done. Other people prefer to take their time and live life at a slower pace. Which do you prefer?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.
Sample Answer:
I prefer the first one. I’m a very quick decision taker and I like to be in a hurry to go places and get things done. Our life is very short and our time is very limited. The greatness of human being is that they can do great things in this short period of their limited time. This is one of the distinctive marks of man which isolates man from other creatures.
It is good to give good time in preparation and go at a slower pace. But in most of the cases it ended in indecision, hesitation and confusion and more lethargy ended in more confusion and indecision. On the other hand life will not gift you all the time with enough time to think at slow pace. It happens quite often to one’s life when you need to decide quickly and decide fast. You are not at liberty or at affluence to think slow or take time.
Hence ability to decide quickly is the ability which can help one to move fast to ones destiny, reach one’s own goal. Human beings are bestowed a short lifetime. In this short period of time, human beings have a lot of things to do. So we have to be pretty smart to make decision fast and execute it as fast as possible if we want to be a successful individual in life. The history suggests that the human civilization never has the scarcity of those successful individuals. That is why human civilization has survived and will survive proudly.
In my case, I want to follow those great individuals who entertained strong hopes for human progress. These great persons’ biography shows that most of them were quick decision maker and they accomplished a tremendous task within their short lifespan. Inspired by those great architects of human civilization, I want to glorify our civilization contributing to its development and progress. Therefore, I always try to make a swift decision and consummate it with my best possible effort.
In short, we are gifted a short lifespan with lot of goals. If we want to reach our destiny, we have to be a quick decision taker. That is why, I always keep fast pace and do things in hurry.
