Sample Answer:

Nowadays, smartphones have become an indispensable part of our lives. While some people think that these devices are destroying social interaction today, I firmly disagree with this opinion.

To begin with, smartphones have vastly improved our ability to connect with one another. We can now stay in contact with our friends and family regardless of distance and time. We can easily make video calls and talk to people who live in different countries or even on different continents. And, with the help of social media platforms, we can stay up to date with our friends’ and family’s lives as well. Therefore, it can be said that smartphones have made it easier for us to maintain relationships with our loved ones.

Furthermore, smartphones have enabled us to access a wealth of information at our fingertips. With a few taps on the screen, we can find out the answer to almost any question. We can read news instantly, watch tutorials and learn new skills. We can also use our smartphones to stay informed of the latest developments in our field of work. Therefore, it is clear to see that smartphones have greatly expanded our knowledge base.

Finally, smartphones have made our lives more convenient. We can now do our banking, book tickets, shop online, and even order food from the comfort of our homes. With the help of GPS navigation, we can easily find our way around in a new city. And, with the help of ride-sharing apps, getting around in unfamiliar places has become much easier. Therefore, it is evident that smartphones have made our lives more comfortable and hassle-free.

In conclusion, I believe that smartphones have not only improved our ability to stay in touch with our loved ones, but they have also enabled us to access a wealth of information and make our lives more convenient. For these reasons, I disagree with the opinion that these devices are destroying social interaction today.
