Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Playing a game is fun only when you win.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Sample Answer:
The world has already turned into a cut-throat competitive stage where games are no longer a great source of fun. That is to say that it is fun only when we win. We take part in a game with the mentality that we have to win. So, in a game, participators put themselves at stake, as if it is their question of survival. However, I am of the honest opinion that playing is fun only for one who wins for several reasons which I am going to elucidate in the bellow.
To start with, if we ask both children and adults the question why you play sports or watch sports, the answer is usually some variation of it is fun. Yet the empirical evidences tell us different story that the playing game is not fun, per se. for example, if an alien from another galaxy comes to our planet and observes how we act on our stadiums, badminton courts, and golf courses, I am sure the alien would never guess we partake in games for fun.
This is because that parents yell at coach, officials, and worst of all, scream at their own children for not performing or playing well. Take my experience for an example. When I was in high school, I like to play rugby. The euphoria of win fueled my excitement and when I defeated I felt so frustrated. And the worst case was that my every defeat turned out to be nightmare for me that the bitter experience is inexpressible in words. My parents yelled at me and even they beat me sometimes. On the top of that, fans, who spend thousands of dollars on tickets, souvenirs, posters, and festoons, flip off fellow fans, and their faces turn into purple for the poor play of their teams.
To wrap up, the world we live in rewards him for his win not for how well perform. A player is exalted only when he wins and he is severely criticized for his defeat. This is the fact and for this, a game is intrinsically fun only when it is won.
