Sample Answer:

Nowadays, many people believe that economic success is directly associated with personal happiness, while others feel that this is dependent on other factors. This essay will explore both perspectives before offering a conclusion.

On the one hand, it is understandable why some people might think that financial success is a primary factor in achieving personal satisfaction. Having a secure income, being able to afford luxuries, and being able to provide for one’s family are all signs of economic prosperity and, in turn, bring a sense of joy and contentment. Moreover, having financial stability can provide the assurance of being able to cope in the event of an emergency, such as a medical emergency or the loss of a job. This can be a huge source of comfort and pleasure.

On the other hand, it is also possible to be happy without economic success. It is possible to find joy in activities such as spending time with family, engaging in hobbies, and volunteering in the community. In addition, people can find contentment in staying active, eating well, and getting enough rest. These activities can bring feelings of peace and satisfaction that are not necessarily dependent on having money. Furthermore, having meaningful relationships with family and friends can bring joy and pleasure that are independent of economic success.

In conclusion, it is clear that economic success can contribute to personal happiness, but it is not the only factor that matters. People can find contentment in other activities, such as having meaningful relationships, staying active, and engaging in hobbies. It is important to remember that financial success does not always equate to personal satisfaction, and that other factors can be equally important.
