Sample Answer:
Nowadays, there is a debate about whether people are naturally born as good leaders or leadership skills can be learnt. This essay will discuss both views and present a personal opinion.
On the one hand, some people argue that leadership skills can be acquired through learning and experience. It is argued that good leaders are not born with the skills, but rather, they are learned through education and life experiences. For instance, some of the most successful leaders such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs have proved that they have not been born with leadership qualities, but their hard work and dedication has enabled them to become leaders in their respective fields. Furthermore, with the help of training and guidance, anyone can acquire leadership skills and use them to their advantage in their professional and personal life.
On the other hand, some people believe that leadership qualities are inherent in some people, and these qualities cannot be acquired through experience. It is argued that some people have the ability to inspire and lead others from an early age and this is due to their natural leadership qualities. For example, some of the world’s most respected leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela have shown that they have been gifted with natural leadership qualities that have enabled them to lead their people to success.
In conclusion, while both views have valid arguments, I personally believe that leadership skills can be learnt. This is because, with the right guidance and experience, anyone can become a successful leader, regardless of their natural qualities. Therefore, it is important to understand that leadership skills can be acquired through education, experience and hard work.
