Sample Answer:
Advertising dominates the world that we live in today. Adverts are on television, on the World Wide Web, on the street and even on our mobile phones. However, there are considerable advantages and disadvantages to this phenomenon.
On the one hand, advertising is a vital part of modern business. To be with, all companies across the world need to tell customers about their products, and it would give us the excellent opportunity to be informed about all available choices that we will have in the market. In addition; advertising is a creative industry that employs thousands of people without it there would be a higher rate of unemployment. Moreover, Adverting is a kind of modern art, and many people enjoy watching them.
On the other hand, the worst disadvantage of advertising is that it manipulates people. They are the main reason that people nowadays have become more materialist as it aims to convince innocent people to buy more branded products to meet more happiness. Furthermore, advertisements that we see more and more on television have bad influences on children. As a result, children put more pressure on their parents to buy them things. Unfortunately, most of these advertisements show unhealthy food that would increase the rate of health problems among people. Many ads are fabricated and exaggerate the features of real products, and this is a kind of deceptive technique used to allure people to purchase things that they do not need.
To sum up, in my opinion, we are not capable of eliminating advertising from our life and society. Therefore, we should imply some practical rules to decline the negative effects of advertisements. Also, there should have to be more strict rules about all advertising that are related to children.
