Nowadays, the roads are not safe to drive on due to the rising number of drivers who ignore the laws while driving. This essay will examine the reasons why some drivers fail to abide by the laws, and some of the possible solutions to this problem.
The primary reason why some drivers fail to obey the laws while driving is because they are not aware of the laws. In some countries, there is limited information available to drivers about the rules and regulations of the road. Furthermore, the laws may be complex and difficult to understand, meaning that drivers are unable to abide by them even if they are aware of them.
Another reason for drivers disregarding the laws is the lack of enforcement. In many countries, there is a lack of police presence on the roads, meaning that drivers feel that they can get away with breaking the law. Furthermore, even when drivers are caught breaking the law, the punishments may be minimal, meaning that drivers feel that there is no consequence for breaking the law.
In order to fix this problem, there needs to be better education for drivers about the laws of the road. Governments should invest in campaigns to inform drivers about the laws, as well as providing resources to help them understand them. Furthermore, the punishments for breaking the law should be increased, so that drivers understand that there are consequences for their actions. Finally, there needs to be a greater police presence on the roads, so that drivers know that they will be caught if they break the law.
