Sample Answer:

Nowadays, the preservation of natural resources and environment has become one of the most pressing issues. As a result, there is a debate about who should be responsible for teaching children to recycle waste, parents or schools. This essay will discuss both perspectives and will give my opinion on the matter.

On the one hand, some people argue that it is the parents’ responsibility to teach their children to recycle waste. They believe that parents have the closest relationship with their children and are the most suitable candidates to teach them the importance of preserving natural resources. Moreover, parents can also set an example in their everyday life, by practicing recycling themselves and showing their children how to do it. This way, children are more likely to be affected by their parents’ positive behaviour, which can help them become more environmentally friendly.

On the other hand, there are those who argue that it is the responsibility of schools to teach children how to recycle waste. They believe that schools should invest more in teaching students about the importance of preserving natural resources and the environment. This can be done by offering classes on how to recycle, how to conserve energy or how to properly dispose of waste. Schools can also organise activities, such as trips to nearby forests or to waste recycling plants, in order to help students understand the importance and the impact of recycling waste.

In my opinion, both parents and schools should play a role in teaching children to recycle waste. Parents can teach their children by setting an example in their everyday life, while schools can offer programmes and activities that help children understand the importance and impact of recycling. Moreover, both parents and schools should collaborate in order to provide children with the necessary information, in order to help them become more environmentally conscious.

To conclude, both parents and schools should work together to educate children about the importance of recycling waste in order to preserve natural resources and the environment.
