Sample Answer:

In recent years, there has been an ongoing debate as to whether living in a city offers more advantages than living in the countryside. There is no doubt that both have their own unique set of benefits and drawbacks, and it is important to consider both sides of the argument.

To begin with, living in the city can provide far greater access to opportunities than life in the countryside. For example, city centres often contain a greater variety of jobs, as well as better transport links. This means that people living in cities are more likely to find employment, as well as more easily travel to and from work. Additionally, city dwellers also have better access to a range of services and facilities, such as shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, making it easier for them to lead a more active lifestyle.

On the other hand, life in the countryside can be incredibly peaceful and tranquil. The absence of the hustle and bustle of city life allows for people to enjoy a slower pace of life, and to truly appreciate the beauty of nature. Furthermore, due to the lower population density, the countryside often has a lower cost of living, making it an attractive option for those on a budget.

In conclusion, it is clear that both living in the city and living in the countryside have their own unique advantages and disadvantages. It is ultimately up to the individual to decide which option is best for them, depending on their own individual needs and preferences. Personally, I believe that the best option is to find a balance between the two, and to take advantage of the benefits of both city and countryside living.
