You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You are going on a short training course at a training centre in Sydney. You need somewhere to live while you are there. The course information brochure says that accommodation is being organised by the training centre’s Accommodation Manager, John Long.
Write a letter to the accommodation manager at the training centre. In your letter:
- explain your situation
- describe the accommodation you require
- say when you will need it
You should write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear _ ,
Dear Mr. John Long,
The aim of this letter is to request you to arrange a suitable accommodation for me so that I can complete the training session successfully. I will participate the training program on cluster computing from November 7 to November 21, 2015.
As I am somewhat obese and snore terribly, I would like to request you for a private studio apartment for me if it is possible. It would be very conducive for me if I could walk to training centre every day. But if it is tough to arrange, then please keep me somewhere I have easy access to public transport. Apart from this, all I need is a bed with at least 12” inch thick mattress, a reading table, a TV, and a high speed Internet connection.
Anyway, as I will arrive Sydney on November 6 in the evening, I require the accommodation from that night. It would be appreciated if you could arrange an accommodation as per my requirements.
I look forward to hearing you shortly.
Gill Hayward Smith.
