You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You should write at least 150 words.
A friend has written a letter to you informing you about his or her plan to visit your country/city.
Write a letter to him/ her. In your letter, write:
- what he or she can do in your country/city
- advise him about the place he could stay at
- suggest to him/her what to pack and bring while coming to travel to your country/city
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:

Hi there!
I’m so excited to hear that you’re planning a trip to my country/city! There’s so much to see and do here, you’re going to have a great time. Let me give you a few ideas of things to do and places to stay.
One of the best things to do in my country/city is to explore the outdoors. We have some beautiful hiking trails and parks that are perfect for a day of adventure. If you’re looking for a more relaxed experience, we also have some great beaches that are perfect for soaking up the sun.
As for accommodations, there are plenty of great hotels and Airbnb options in the city. If you’re on a budget, there are also some great hostels that are perfect for backpackers.
When packing for your trip, be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and insect repellent. We also have a lot of great restaurants here, so be sure to bring your appetite!
