Nowadays, it is a controversial issue whether foreign films should be broadcasted or not. Some people think that watching foreign films can bring good influences to local culture, while others believe that it can cause negative effects on it. In this essay, I will discuss both views and then give my own opinion.
On the one hand, some people think that foreign films can be beneficial to local culture. Firstly, it can help people to have better understanding of other cultures. Watching foreign films can give audiences a chance to learn the history, customs, and lifestyles of other countries, which can help them avoid cultural misunderstandings.
