Sample Answer:

Nowadays, many species of animal are becoming extinct in the world. It is widely accepted that this is a natural process for certain animal species, such as dinosaurs and dodos, to become extinct. However, people have different opinions about whether humans should take action to prevent this from happening. In my opinion, I believe that people should try to prevent animals from becoming extinct.

Firstly, many species of animal have become extinct due to human activities. For example, the dodo bird was hunted to extinction by sailors in the 1600s. Similarly, the passenger pigeon went extinct due to excessive hunting and human-caused habitat destruction. Therefore, if we do not take action to protect endangered species, it is likely that more animals and plants will become extinct.

Secondly, humans have a moral obligation to protect species of animal. Animals are living creatures that are capable of feeling emotions such as pain and pleasure. Therefore, it is wrong to allow them to suffer or become extinct due to human activities. This is especially true in the case of endangered species, which are facing the threat of extinction due to human activities.

Thirdly, animals and plants are essential for the health of our planet. Plant and animal species play an important role in the food chain, which helps to maintain the balance of nature. In addition, animals provide many other benefits such as pollination, insect and pest control, and soil fertility. Therefore, it is important for us to protect animal species in order to maintain the health of our planet.

In conclusion, I believe that people should take action to prevent animals from becoming extinct. This is because species of animal are often threatened by human activities, humans have a moral obligation to protect them, and they are essential for the health of our planet.
