Model Answer:
There is not a single denying fact that we serve our jobs primarily for money. But when it comes to the point that the single most important trait of a job is the money a person earns has sparked a heated debate. Because there are other significant factors a job-seeker has to consider. That is to say that workload, atmosphere, and people are as important as money.
Salary is an important consideration for us when selecting a job. Since, a certain amount of money is required to cover our everyday needs like, buying food, house rent, paying various bills, and so forth. However, the more we can earn money, the more comfortable life we can lead. That is to say, when we have a well-paid job, we can buy luxurious apartment, afford car, and afford many other expensive stuffs in order to lead a cozy life. This means that a handsome salary is not only meet the basic need, but also it brings our dreams come true. Thereby, people always look for a well-paid job in order to lead a more comfortable life.
In addition to this, there are few other concerns on which people think most before joining a job. First of all, they think deeply about the level of difficulties, because job satisfaction depends on working at people’s optimum level. If a job is too easy, people, then become bored quickly. Again, if a job is far beyond the capability of the employee, he will soon become frustrated and the worst part is that he may be fired from the job. Secondly, working atmosphere is another crucial factor. When a job has a supportive environment for example, friendly and easy-going attitude of co-workers as well as the boss, then the workplace becomes the pleasant place to stay around. Not only those in this ambiance people bloom themselves and can earn self-esteem. As a result, people always prefer to work in an atmosphere where they feel comfort with colleagues and boss as well.
At this juncture, I would like to say that the important aspects of job differ person to person and an individual tends to stress on a particular aspect depends on a certain circumstance. That is why, while money is primary consideration, there are other aspects are emphasized over salary. So, it would wrong if we say money is the most important aspect of a job. Money indeed is important, but not the most.
