The expression “Never, never give up” means to keep trying and never stop working for your goals.
Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Sample Answer 1:
I wholeheartedly agree with the expression that ‘keep working on your goals until you get the desired success’. I deem that this is the most important trait of being successful. You cannot assure that you can get success at the first chance. In most cases, success comes after a lot of attempts. The ability to keep on trying despite even disappointment of failure is the ability that makes all the difference in the world. It is the underlying fact of attaining a goal. However, the expression denotes the attitude of determination that is the key power of a successful man.
The expression can be translated into a single word ‘Perseverance’. Perseverance is the attitude of steadfastness in doing something despite obstacles or delay in accomplishing a goal or mission. The attitude is necessary for every human being. When it comes to achieve a goal, no doubt there will be several hurdles. We need the attitude to overcome all the obstacles to reach our goal successfully.
There are numbers of hindrances and failures, one has to pass through before he attains something precious in life. So, if you want to achieve your goal, you need to stick with your mission. It is the very quality that lies in every successful man. It is that trait which makes even seemingly impossible thing possible. Abraham Lincoln is a good example in this instance. He was driven by determination to fight for the freedom of slaves. He defeated in many battles, a lot of blood was shed. But ultimately Lincoln won and the slaves were liberated. The historical event testifies that if you keep on working with your goal despite the obstacle you face, you will surely taste the success.
In short, it is quite natural that each and everybody has faced or will face obstacles in their life. If you brush off your mission facing hindrance, you will not get any success in life. Therefore, you have to be consistent with your target in spite of failure, because every failure leads you to near the success.
Sample Answer 2:
Action is the manifestation of thinking and shapes the pathway of a man. The expression ‘’Never, never give up’’ means to keep trying and to never stop working for the goals. It represents such action which paves the way of going towards the destination. Some people agree with this statement. Meanwhile, others think in a different way. I personally believe that never giving up is the mantra to success in life and this single action makes some people successful.
Goal is the specific view of the human being. It is something beyond the maintenance of life that the human being wants to aspire for acquiring. In this case, it shows the meaning why we are in the world. This goal is destined to be fixed for entire human being. In terms of this, individual desires what s/he wants to do. This being depends upon how s/he wants to contribute to the society. S/he has to choose which way is most perfect towards his/her goal. From this perspective s/he designs his/ her goal.
In this regard, there are actions which are confronted for the goal. There are a few people who are not able to do confronted actions. Then this expression ‘Never, never give up’ becomes relevant. Difficulties differ from person to person. In accordance with that ‘give up’ mentality depends upon such differentiation of persons.
On the other hand, from different point of view, persons who are unrelenting they will never give up. Any how they want to try to reach their aspiration. So they are always enthusiastic to take challenges and determined. By the way, any type impediment does not matter for them.
However, goal is defined by each person. With this person’s ‘give up’ mentality is intertwined. So I strongly believe in embedded myself upon my goal. There is no diction to ‘give up’ which dictate me to be deviated what I want to do. How much unreachable difficulties will come, I want stand obdurately.
