Model Answer:
I wholeheartedly agree with the statement that students should take out student loans to avoid working while studying. This is not only because they have adequate time to prepare themselves for the test, but also it helps them in more ways than one. I have a number of reasons to firm my position.
To start with, when a student works before or after the class, they may not focus on their lessons. This is because they very often are exhausted. Consequently, they are more likely to fail the test. Take my friend as an example. A friend of mine worked after the school hours. He toiled all the evening hours and very often he was asked to work extra hours to meet deadlines. As a result, he was so exhausted that even he sometimes could not prepare his dinner. There was sheer scarcity of time for study and he ultimately flunked the test.
Again, for many students an education loan is their first vital financial transaction. Although taking out a loan is seemed a daunting prospect, it is also an excellent opportunity to build a nice credit history. Whether flying solo or engaging a cosigner, whether it is a private lender loan or a Federal loan, education loan is the beginning of many students’ financial history. By maintaining up to date on all college payments a student can start to lay foundation of a good credit score that will prove significantly beneficial in the later life.
Last but not the least, in today’s corporate world a university degree is highly required. Students from middle class, many a time, cannot afford their tuition fees and other expenses yet they are meritorious enough to earn a university degree. In the case, student loan is the great opportunity to get the toehold on the ladder of success.
From what has been discussed it can be easily said that student loan is a boon for students. Not only does it help students stick to academic life, but also it helps later in life.
