Model Answer:
In this cut-throat competitive would, everything is contaminated by stark competition as sports are no longer subject to entertainment for young children. Intense practice, parents’ pressure to win and painful injuries very often make them simply burnout on the sports. It has become simply nightmare for youngsters whereas, sports has many benefits to them.

There is no denying fact that involving in sports is a great activity for our kids that provide a plenty of benefits besides physical activities. It can help children build confidence and self-esteem, can encourage them to excel academic performance, and can help build social competences. Most importantly, children can learn the hardest lesson from sports. That is to say that win and lose is a part and parcel of life and it takes place at every sphere of life, and man does not win always and does not lose always. But lose always hurts a man and the worst case is that many a person becomes frustrated by losing and he cannot stick to his goal. In this instance, sports can play a great roll that how to learn from failure and to steadfast in achieving goal. Therefore, children can learn the cornerstone lesson of being successful in any life

However, kids’ sports has already become much more competitive ever before. Parents tend to enroll their five or six years old children in a competitive league. Over the next few years training is intensified and is expanded to the off-season making practice necessarily all year round. Children may participate more than one league. Soon the stakes get soar because many parents force their children just to win. To many parents winning sports means recognition, and that could lead to lucrative opportunities. So the parents leave only winning option to their children. As a result, kids may have to sacrifice other interest and very often give up their spare times that allow them to just be kids. This actually creates hindrances in children’s natural growth. So, the positive impacts of sports turn out harmful when kids are spent most times on grueling practice of sports.

To reiterate, children with a strong internal vigor may thrive on competition. But the pressure can causes great harm to others, particularly the young children who are not as equipped to deal with pressure or stress as their adult counterpart. So, I wholeheartedly agree that young children are spent most time to win the race as it may prove to be harmful for them.
