Sample Answer:
When it comes to choosing career paths people are divided in their opinion. Some people have predilection to pursue career paths that take them to management position, while others prefer the career paths leading to positions of individual responsibility. However, in my case, I want to take the challenge to be manager. I have got several years of experience under my belt, I have put in my fair share of time, sweat, and tears, and by my reckoning, it is my turn to move up into a management position. During the course of my career, I have developed myself as a problem solver, I can understand the whole company, not just my job responsibilities, and above all, I am highly profession.

Managers are seemed to be leader and leaders never wait to be told what to do. They evolve a sound strategy about what steps to be taken, and then they take the step. I firmly believe that I am fit for the role to problem solver, an important trait of a manager. Whenever I am faced with a challenge, I do not tell my boss about the crux and wait for solution. Instead, I tell my boss how I am going to fix it. For instance, in the last month, our official website’s traffic was down. I worked out a solution of the problem and presented it to my boss.

To achieve a managerial post, each one needs to be professional. That is to say that he does not miss the deadlines, forget to reply emails, and gossip about other employees. He does every assignment meticulously. In this case, I always try to maintain a good work ethic by being on time and am courteous to other colleagues. Not only do I avoid office gossip, but also try to endeavor in every action to gain the reputation of someone who everybody can rely. Besides, I always approach my everyday tasks with a positive attitude.

In fine, I would like to say that I have the intangible traits of a manager, such as initiative, vision, problem solving, and responsibility. I think these aspects will put me in the perfect light when the opportunity for management position comes up. That is why my preference would be the path that goes to management position.
