Sample Answer:
I concur with the statement on every point that parents or other adult relative should make crucial decisions for their children, particularly age between 15 year and 18 year old, and the children also should pay heed to their advice. Having a great extent of experience, parents or other adult relatives can make a good decision for the children. Besides, 15-18 years old children are not yet enough adult, so they, most cases, cannot take the responsibility for making a important decision. Therefore, I fully agree with the given statement.

To start with, parents or other guardians usually have a lot of experience. They have already gathered many experiences from the bumpy roads of life. They have enough empirical experiences that what is the right thing to do and what is not. So, it can be easily said that they are more knowledgeable and experienced people for making such important decisions that would bear good fruit in the future certainly. For example, my elder brother advised me to take literature in the higher study and it proves now that obeying his suggestion, I take the right decision, I am doing well in literature. This is not to say that adult should make every decision or dictate them in every case. But when adults who love them and care for their future, should have right to make major decisions for the well being of their loving ones.

At the same time, the teenagers have not enough experience in life. In many case, they have not yet seen the dark side of the tough context and are driven by emotion. But life is a concrete picture of reality and here, decision should be made regarding the demand of reality. There is no space for emotion in taking vital decision. So, it is the parents or adult guardians who should guide their children to succeed in life.

In fine, those who differ with this notion might contend that it can make the children dependent on others. In that case, my opinion is that a faint mistake in an important decision making about life may significantly cause harm that might not be healed and the child would suffer for the rest of his or her life. Therefore, it would be fine if parent make important decision for their teenage children.
