Sample Answer:
Pets possess many human traits like emotions, personalities, predilections, etc., although they are not human. So, they are not mere domesticated animals, they are treated as family members. As far as I believe, the knit between human and the pets is indeed good. The following reasons could explain why.

For a start, pets are good for human body, mind, and soul. They rouse human’s sense of well-being. They love human, they brings laughter for human, but above all they make human happy. They are indifference with your social and financial status, your race, your creed, even your countenance. They love you for who you are. It is perhaps the aspect of unconditional acceptance that sets pet apart from many selfish humans. Similarly, human needs companionship to keep mental pain and stress at bay. In the case, pets would a great companion. For instance, many psychiatrists have discovered that patients with anger management can be relaxed with pets around the house.
In addition, Pets might retain self-esteem. For elderly, whose human countenance systems have been severely compromised, pets accompanied by companionship provide affection and comprehension as well. Rearing a pet makes elderly feel wanted and needed. The consciousness of being useful tops up the feeling of self-esteem. Besides, pets can melt away senior citizens’ loneliness. For example, many elderly whose spouses have passed away have been known to experience lesser melancholy in the presence of a pet.

Apart from that, pets can reduce obesity. Grooming a pet involves some activities like feeding, walking the pet, playing with pet, and so on. These activities keep the pet owns physically fit and active as well. A study observing 2,000 adults found that the pet owners who played and walked their pets had less rate of obesity, and were more active than those without pet.

In fine, I do not say that the relationship between human and pet is a substitute to human relationship. But, this relationship has profound influence on human to lead a healthy and happy life.
