It has recently been announced that a new movie theater may be built in your neighborhood.
Do you support or oppose this plan? Why?

Sample Answer:
In this fast paced life, spending time in a movie theater is an awesome experience for anybody. From an announcement, I come to know that a movie theater is going to be built in my neighborhood. I wholeheartedly support the idea. Because it is not only a good source of entertainment, but also create job opportunities.
Many people oppose the decision of building new movie theater. They claim that the movie theater has already become obsolete, since more and more people buy home theater to play videotapes, VCDs, and DVDs. They contend that the cheap and available VCDs and DVDs will replace the position of movie theater. People now can comfortable enjoy movie at their home, they argue.
However, I do not think so that movie theater has lost its appeal. In this hectic life, people indeed need an alternative place to staying out home and workplace for a while to refresh themselves. It is needless to say home environment is quite different from movie theater. With soda and pop corn in hand, sitting in the dark theater with friends watching a movie is really a magical feeling. Therefore, nothing could replace movie theater, I think.
In addition, as movie theater still retain its appeal, having movie theater is an wonderful matter. It will enable us to watch latest movies easily and quickly without making a long drive into the city. We could even walk to the theater gossiping with friends. This would be helpful specially for teenagers and adolescents who are not yet driving, they can simply walk to the movie with their friends without requiring their parents to act as a chauffeur, driving them to the theater and picking them up. Moreover, it will also reduce juvenile crimes as the theater brings up job opportunities for the youngsters. Like everybody else, teenagers are bored and they need to keep them busy in a productive way. The jobs movie theater provides not only help them with financial freedom, but also helps them stay away from delinquency.
In short, a new movie theater is a dire need for our neighborhood. It would be not only a convenient way to be entertained, but also would bring up job opportunities for teens that result in reducing juvenile delinquency. I believe that most people in our community support my stand.
