The given table provides information about the housing types in Australia in 1994. The table contains the names of nice Australian territories including the number of dwellers in different types of houses.

According to the table data, there were more than 6677 thousands house dwellers in Australia in 1994 and they lived in separate houses, semi-detached/ row of trace house/ town house, flat/ unit/ apartment and other types of houses. There were more than 22 hundred thousand dwellers in New South Wales which was highest among the territories given in the table and among them more than two-third lived in separate houses. Remaining 24% lived in flat or apartment or in kind of town houses. The number of people who lived in other types of houses in all the 9 states/ territories were about 16 thousands and that is very few compared to the dwellers of other house types. Victoria and Queensland had more than one hundred thousand dwellers among the other states and territories and all other areas had less than thousand dwellers. The least number of dwellers lived in Northern Territory with about 66 thousands in total.

Most of the people in these states preferred to live in separate houses while about 5-25% people lived in flat type housing arrangements. Remaining people lived in town house housing arrangements.
