The two pie charts below show some employment patterns in Great Britain in 1992.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given pie charts present information about the male and female employment patterns in manual and non-manual work forces in Great Britain in 1992. As is observed from the given charts, more men were engaged in non-manual job types than female in Great Britain in 1992.

According to the pie charts, 31% female worked in craft related jobs compared to only 6% male. In clerical jobs, male were well ahead of female. There were very few general labours during this period both for male and female. In clerical jobs there men had more percentage of jobs than female. In other manual jobs the percentage of male and female employees were almost similar (27 and 26 percentages consecutively). In case of Managerial and professional jobs female had been 9% compared to 6% male.

In short, female employment in Great Britain in 1992 was comparatively better than that of male employment.
