The given line graph compares the TV and radio audiences in a typical day in the United Kingdom in 1992. The horizontal bar presents the different hours of a day while the vertical bar shows the percentages of TV and radio audiences in the UK who are over 4 years old. As is observed from the given data, in early morning more UK people prefer to listen to the radio program while TV attains more viewers from noon till late night.

As is given in the line graph, from early morning (6.00 am) the number of radio listeners kept on increasing and the highest number of radio listeners could be observed at around 8.00 am when more than 25% of the total UK population listened to radio broadcasting. At that time the percentage of TV viewers was quite less (around 5%). The TV viewers kept on rising after 11.00 am while the opposite trend could be observed in the case of radio listeners. At 1.00 pm the percentage of TV and radio audiences intersected when both had around 15% audiences. After that, the number of TV viewers increased sharply and reached around 45% of the total UK audience at around 9.00 pm. The radio viewers kept on decreasing after 1.00 pm and that kept on decreasing till the next day morning.

Overall, most people in the UK watched TV programmes in the evening time while radio programmes grabbed most listeners in the early morning.
