Internet Usage in Taiwan by Age Group, 1998-2000

The supplied bar graph presents information about the internet users in Taiwan dividing them in 4 age groups from 1998 to 2000. As it can be seen from the given data, the younger and aged people started using internet more in numbers while this was opposite for Taiwanese from 16 to 49 years.
According to the illustration, more than 50% Taiwanese internet users fell in 16 to 30 years age group in 1998 which was highest percentage of internet users among the given age groups. The second most internet users (41%) were from 31 – 49 age group in this year. Internet users who were either less than 15 years or over 49 year comprised only 6% of the total internet users in this year. After one year the internet users from younger and old people increased and reached to both 8% while the internet users in other two age groups decreased. Finally in the year 2000, the inter users from less than 15 years age groups reached to 9 percent while this was 10% for people over 49 years old. On the other hand, users from 16 – 30 and 31-50 years age group declined to 44% and 37% respectively.
