IELTS Writing Task 1 Diagram With Answers:

The given diagram shows the life cycle of plastic which is used for producing plastic bottles. The given picture shows how plastic bottles could be created from raw materials as well as how the used plastic bottles could be recycled.

As is seen in the given illustration, initially cereal is collected as the raw materials for producing plastic bottles. The cereal in the next step is used to produce glucose and fermentation is done in the third step. To produce polymer the fermentation is used and this polymer is then used to produce plastic bottles.

The used plastic bottles are thrown away as garbage and the collected bottles are recycled. The recycled plastic bottles could be directly used to produce new bottles without following the previous three steps which are used to produce plastic bottles from the cereal.

The life cycle of plastic shows that recycling plastic is a far more efficient way of producing new plastic bottles.
