 Sample Answer:
The given graphs provide information on the world population and also show the population in urban areas. First line graph shows the millions of people in the world and predicts this number till the 2100 wile the bar graph shows projection on world population in developing and developed countries.

As is clear from the line graph, the world population was only one thousand millions in the year 1800. This number slowly increased till 1940 when it reached three thousand million. After that the population of the world simply boomed and it rocketed to 6000 million in the year 2000. It is projected that the population would increase to over eight thousand million after the year 2040. Interestingly the world population would start declining till 2100 after the year 2045 and it would fall to just over 6 thousand million again in 2100. This data was taken from the Wikipedia.org.

According to the bar graph, the population in developing countries would be significantly higher than that of developed regions. In 2015, the total population on developed countries would be about 1400 million while this would be more than 2200 in developing regions. The population in developed countries would remain almost same in the year 2040 while the population in developing countries would increase to 4 thousand millions. In 2040 the population in developing regions would be more than thrice than that of developed nations.
