The given illustration gives information about the employment destinations of first degree holders UK residents from 2007 to 2010 and also provides data on their salary structure for the year 2009 and 2010 in dollar. Overall, full-time employment forms the largest employment destinations for UK first degree holders and majority of such people were employed for the salary range 10 thousand to 25 thousand dollar in a year.
According to the data given on the table, about 60% UK first degree holders were engaged in full-time jobs while unemployment rate among them was 11-15%. Further study among the academic degree holders was about 16-18% throughput these 4 years while part-time employment was only 7-9%. Part-time employment percentage decreased over time reaching at 7% in 2010 from 9% in 2007.
The pie charts reveal the salary ranges for the year 2009 -2010 in dollar and as is observed male salary range was bit higher than that of women and majority of the employees got 20 thousand to 25 thousand salary in a year. 1% male and female employees got 5 to 9 thousand, which was the least percentage among the given data. Maximum number of employees received from 20 thousand to 25 thousand among which 32% were female and 26% were male. 29% of both genders received the salary range 25 thousand to less than 30 thousand. Employees who received more than 30 thousand dollars to less than 40 thousand dollar were 7% male and 5% female. 2% male employees received over 40 thousand dollar salary while no female employee could be found in this salary range.
