IELTS Academic Writing Task 1: Sample Answer
The given table presents a comparison on time spent for internet browsing by European male and female based on their ages. As is presented in the given table younger European people spent more time on internet browsing and overall male spent more time on internet than female did.
According to the given data, male Europeans between 11 to 15 years spent 8 hours for internet browsing while this hour was 6 for female of the same age group. The highest amount of time spent on internet was by 16 -20 years old European. 19 hours was spent by male of this age group while it was 18 hours for female. The time spent on internet browsing decreased as the age of the European increased. Only 2-4 hours was spent on the internet by population over 26 years old. The lowest internet browsing could be observed among the male of 50+ while in only age group where female spent more time on internet than male was 31-50 years.
