IELTS Academic Writing Task 1: Sample Answer
The given diagrams present information about the global 3D cinema releases from 2005 to 2012. The line graph gives data on the digital 3D screens worldwide while the bar graph compares the 3D cinema releases globally in 2 genre- live action and animation.
According to the line graph, the number of digital 3D screen worldwide was less than thousands till 2007 and this number reached to 10 thousand in at around 2009, After that the number of digital 3D screens kept on increasing very sharply and in 2011 it reached to approximately 4 thousand.
On the other hand, the bar graph shows the comparison of live action and animation 3D movie releases worldwide from 2005 to 2012. Till 2008 only animation 3D cinema was released and the number release was less than 10. In 2009 about 10 animation and 4 live action 3D cinema was release and afterward this number kept on increasing. In 2011 total number of released 3D movies was around 50 and almost half of it was live action movies. Finally in 2012, more live action 3D movies were released than animation 3D movies and the total number of releases 3D movies in this year was about 75.
