Sample Answer:

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to request for a book “July’s People” that I have searched each and every bookstore in the locality. Written by Nadine Gordimer it was publish in 1982. Since then it has been a profound important novel in English literature.

The plot of the novel revolves around the Smales, a liberal white family living in Johannesburg city who flee for the turmoil situation of the city. When the fighting submerges the city, they abandon their cozy suburban life and find a saviour in the servant who rescues them to his native village. Smales’ relationship is put both within the July’s family and with the natives of the village under the microscope, focusing the effect of race on impressions of each other and the security of the condition. However, the book is extremely needed because it is the core text of my running semester as I am studying English literature.

It would be appreciated if you could send me a copy of this book. Please send it to my postal address. I am ready to pay in advance or will make the payment of delivery as your wish.

I look forward to hearing you soon.

Yours faithfully,
Erick John
