Sample Answer:

Dear Sir or Madam,

On November 23, I ordered the book Of Grammatology by Jacques Derrida, order number 57023, through your online retail store. You sent an e-mail acknowledging my order and also said that the book would be shipped the next day and would reach my hand within a week. More than two weeks have been elapsed since I place the order!

Unfortunately, the book is yet to reach my address. I made contact with your customer service personnel, but the executive could not give any satisfactory reply. Although he promised me to ‘look into matter’, I have not heard any word from him yet.

Anyway, I need the book for research work as I research on deconstructing the Waste Land by T.S. Eliot that has to be completed within the next four months. So, I cannot wait any longer. Will you please check to see if the order has gone astray? I need the book immediately.

Please let me hear from you at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,
Paul Gittins.
