You are going to take a short holiday in Singapore and you want to rent a holiday apartment while you are there. Write to the tourist information office. In your letter:
- explain what you need
- say when you plan to be there
- ask for information about prices
Answer:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am going to spend a short holiday in Singapore next month. I would be grateful if you could find an accommodation for me.
I will be visiting with my family includes my two young children under the age of eight. I, therefore, will need an apartment. It should be spacious, combined living room and kitchen, which needs dishwasher, microwave oven, and is fully equipped. There should have three bedrooms: two double rooms and one single room. At least, one double room must have direct balcony access. In addition, we need a lockable storage room for bike or other stuff. Furthermore, we need other recreational facilities like big-screen TV and high-speed internet connection, so that we can spend our leisure time at home not being bore.
I will need the accommodation for three weeks from 25th January to 14th February, and I would like to get the key of the apartment as soon as I arrive there. Could you also please tell me how much accommodation of this kind will cost and whether the price includes meals?
