In today’s globalised world, countries have become increasingly interdependent and interconnected, and the debate about their interference in each other’s affairs has become an increasingly important issue. Some people have argued that countries should interfere less in the affairs of other nations. In my opinion, this is a valid argument, but with certain conditions, the extent of which I will discuss in this essay.
Firstly, it is important to consider the reasons why countries choose to interfere in the affairs of other nations. Often, this is done in order to protect a country’s own interests. For example, China has been accused of interfering in the internal politics of other countries in order to gain economic and political advantage. When countries interfere in this way, it often results in human rights violations and other forms of oppression. Therefore, it is important that countries are not allowed to interfere in the affairs of other nations in order to pursue their own interests.
On the other hand, there are certain situations where it is necessary for countries to interfere in the affairs of other nations. For example, in cases of humanitarian crises, such as the recent refugee crisis in Syria, it is essential for other countries to intervene in order to provide much-needed aid and assistance. Similarly, when countries are facing environmental disasters, such as the recent hurricanes in the Caribbean, it is important for other countries to intervene and provide aid in the form of financial support or technical expertise.
In conclusion, I believe that countries should interfere less in the affairs of other nations, with the exception of cases where there is a clear need for assistance or protection. The decision to interfere should be based on the principles of justice and human rights, rather than on the pursuit of a country’s own interests. Only then can countries create a more peaceful and prosperous world.
